So when they do get beat Brown can say "we did what we said we were going to do and we are proud that we treated our drivers equally" or some rehearsed nonsense like that when the reality is once the WCC was locked down, they should have picked a driver and they would have already won the thing.

It's not that deep. It's clip culture and FOMO pushing players who don't actually like extraction shooters into the game. Rather than just not play, they feel like they have to play for clips and clout so they just try to play the laziest, most risk-free way possible.

Soft players choose to remove literally three quarters of the gameplay loop so they don't have to feel things while they mindlessly gather resources. Is that really the takeaway here?

Extraction shooters are already incredibly boring 90% of the time. Why do players want it boring 100% of the time?

I would prefer native triple support at launch and excellent opponent AI. Online racing without an LFM-esque license and penalty system is just pain. LMU online driving standards and race quality are absolutely atrocious. Don't let this happen to you.

But really, this is the way it has to be. Radio (all of radio together) doesn't have the bandwidth to adequately provide listeners with a true plethora of options. This is arguably why Metallica is as popular as they are. Streaming platforms have enabled listeners to discover new music again.

I think you underestimate how many people use features like Artist/Song Radios to discover new music. The radio hasn't been a real source for new music in at least 30 years. Video really did kill the radio star, and streaming killed video.

People don't realize that the VAST majority of gamers play exactly 2 and only 2 games at any given time. They play whatever the current Call of Duty is and whatever current EA/2K sports game of their choice.
