Thought to be extinct in the county, at Great Yarmouth we saw 3+ Lejops vitattus hoverflies including a pair in cop!

More new odonata hunting last month, this time for Scarce Blue-Tailed Damselflies in Cheshire.

Several dotted around with a lovely diagnostic orange immature female being the first I found.

It's been a relentless summer for butterflies as they emerge earlier than expected.
