So we (sixth, seventh grade ages) would have parties at the Methodist Church in Centerville, and there would inevitably be a seance to raise the Bell Witch. It was an excuse to turn down the lights and get spooked before the making out started

Hey hey! That’s my home county!

The old road to Bucksnort was twisty, and my brother and his buddies would drive it so fast, probably drunk, and try to scare each other to death. It was a fun road to drive :-)
