Yes it's another sense, an auditory sense, and like smell it takes you back to yesteryear.
I'm quite old so it takes me back to a time when my bones didn't ache quite so much😅. I like her voice and the conviction it carries.

He was our beacon of hope during the dark days of the of the early 70's. He brought us together when some politicians were tearing us apart. We always loved him and understood why, like many, he had to leave.
He was a good bloke.

Wasn't it wicked what was done to people, children at that, stealing food because they were starving.
But some how out of all that a Nation was born. That history is precious. All our ancestors were prepared to and forced to sail to the end of the earth to escape something much worse.
