SWITCH 2 will also be complete game on cart. but switch 1 is fairly affordable on online stores as a cart. I got mine for less than 50 bucks brand new

I had PenPen on an imported dreamcast back in the day, it was a truly insane and magical experience that has never been duplicated since. the sound effects used for the game have since been reused in television and anime dubbing over the years

they have announced that you will be able to get an upgrade when the game comes to the switch 2, so if you dont mind picking up a solid copy at a later time when the prices drop, I highly suggest picking up the Switch 1 version on a cart then getting the upgrade, cause it is really really good.

thats probably true, Hudson Soft and NEC did need to create Save memory expansions for the system itself so games with the feature to save progress were able to do so

blows my mind that HuCard style carts were never adopted for other systems aside from the Master System, cause they are just so cool and hold a tremendous amount of data
