Happy First of May; the day of Beltane to all — enjoying the Season of Wine & Roses! Spend some time in the “Grove of the Goddess”.
Our elders back then thought of a lot of things — and because of that we have combinations of traditional Sabbat Ceremonies for full covens, small covens of three and also Solo Witch initiates.

These were consecrated by a few of the initiates from the Wolfa Coven and will be used for specific uses in certain rituals.
The nice thing about the Wolf Moon Esbat is it is our last chance to shake free of the dross and burdens we may be carrying around on our backs so that we will feel lighter, and more importantly, ready to plant ….. a good way to put it is,
Coming in very short order will be the Sabbat or Candlemas in which the new seeds as “seed-thoughts” will be planted to grow through the new agricultural cycle.
In every environment, no matter where you live, you can come up with seasonal customs that are appropriate for each Full Moon. For example, for our friends in the Southern Hemisphere, the cycle of themes expressed at the Full Moon might be quite different.
Today; as we post this, it is snowing pretty heavily in the neck of the woods of the Hearthfire of the Wolfa Coven - nature points the way, and in our religious rituals we reflect in them what is happening out there.
The Full Moon of January is known in our tradition as the “Wolf Moon” in our religion, and is part of our Full Moon Lunar cycle. Mythologically, this was seen as a season of scarcity, and at times; danger, when the wolves might come down from the hills and forests and hunt in settled areas.
