The other Silver, would return to a new timeline where everything healed, the sky is blue, and everybody's got a smile. He returned with knowledge of time travel and his allies, Sonic and Shadow, but not Blaze, Elise, Iblis or Mephiles.

The Silvers do not know of the other.

One Silver would return to the Iblis ruined future, remembering defeating Solaris and losing Blaze. but not his name or any of the people he fought with (Sonic, Shadow and Amy specifically).

This effect caused Silver to be quite literally split in two. A Mitosis. a version of him returning to each timeline. both with different memories.

Throwing another wrench in the mix. Sonic and Elise erased Solaris from time, the only god outside the time-eater that can fix it.

When team SSS defeated Solaris. Time tried to restore itself. However, it was not a perfect job. Solaris created a singularity where all points in time were one, restoring something that catastrophic is not that simple.
