We have a house rule for routine minor illnesses designed to avoid the chronic illness behaviour seen in our parents: we will look after the other for up to 3 days then you’re on your own. Worked up to now.

Actually it’s very clear from the legal point of view. There is a legal age limit for abortion and the rights of the infant are very different pre birth compared with post birth. #thearchers

Or we should just accept that the book and the film versions are completely different art forms, the book usually being better. Except where the book is a novelisation of the film, the Third Man being an example.
