and like. the OS is one thing. linux is fine I guess, it just wasn't really what I was looking for. the apps they recommend though...

I may b*tch about modern Office all the time, but I will NEVER switch to libreoffice. I have never not resented having to use libreoffice.

Dear Linux users: Moving to Linux isn’t always the magical solution to fixing someone’s problems. Sometimes someone has to stay on windows because their proprietary software does not work on Linux. Before you just say “just use Linux lol” maybe stop for 3 microseconds and think about their needs.

i found a neat way to romanize coptic: with romance-style vowels

example with the months: thòut, paòpe, hathór, kòiahk, mšír, parmhòtp, parmúte, pašòns, paóne, epép, mesòré

(one could come up with rules to use less accents while not losing much information, like what occitan has ofc)
