The longer words seemed a bit easier than of late when I've taken all day coming back & tinkering with them.

Like you I have my A level English, but functional is a good way to describe my maths - if I have access to a calculator.

I've worked as a care assistant. We need carers. Far more important than academic ability is the ability and will to do a bloody difficult demanding job for crap pay.

If we have immunity, why are hospital covid admissions so high?
We don't have immunity. Covid is still with us, it never went away.
It's not on the scale that it was in 2020 but for those of us who are vulnerable, it's still a worry & the government reducing vaccines is crazy.

The Big Headlines are Labour cock-ups;
* Covid is rising - possibly preventable
* Cost of living is still rising - we're all feeling poorer
* A law preventing Protest - Bad for any party. Abysmal for Labour!
