I love the fact that he looks like a man in an ill-fitting wolf costume. He took that power from someone else and claimed it for his own. It adds so many layers to his character, it's brilliant!

I never understood the appeal of fan theories saying a story was "all a dream" or "in a character's mind".

Bit bummed that there isn't a lot of interest in the latest Samyah and Eda story. Which is fine, Sword & Sorcery is a niche, I get it. Doesn't mean I'm gonna stop making them. I love these little lesbians too much to let em go. ⚔️

If that's the case, I'll have to give it another try! I'm still enthralled by the setting, but the first book lacked a plot or characters that really hooked me.
Fingers crossed something like that is present later in the series.

I really can't recommend Shashka's stuff enough. Man is a master at making bizarre, outlandish scfi full of heart and soul.
Go check it out if you haven't! You're doing yourself a disservice by not reading it!
