Lots of spider webs in the banks and hedgerows, it's very autumnal with foggy mornings. There are no streetlights here and no noise except for nocturnal animals and owls. Bliss! ♥️

It's a year since my Duchess Bella passed away next to me on the sofa. I still miss her so much. Then along came Miss Dolly who is a star and helps me so much. I truly believe the Universe conspires to give us what we need, exactly when we need it most, especially when it involves dogs ♥️

Awful news from Wales, the St Fagan's Museum has been broken into and prehistoric goldwork has been taken. Its painful to think what objects might now be at risk. Thoughts with the museum team who must be devastated, all speed to the police and a curse on the crooks.

At this time of year Ivy flowers provide vital food for all kinds of insects, and later, their berries help sustain birds in the colder months.

Generally, the harvests would be finished by now and the Hiring Fairs would be employing labourers for the next farming year. Fun would also be had too I imagine!
