He pulled Samatoki into a tight embrace. The tears still flowed, as if he couldn't escape the nightmare.

"Don't go, Samatoki..."

"I'm not going anywhere. Don't cry." Samatoki threw himself into the embrace without resistance, stroking his trembling back until it began to calm down.

“Ichiro, wake up.” He gently patted Ichiro's cheek.

“…Samatoki?” Two-colored eyes appeared as her wet eyelids opened, filling with pitiful tears.

Ichiro had frequent nightmares, and when he tried to ask about them in the morning, he couldn't get an answer. At first, he ignored them. Although he was annoyed by the constant waking in the middle of the night, he knew they were definitely related to him.

The soft voice called out, but it easily woke the sleeping Samatoki.

"...Samatoki-san, don't..." The voice began to turn into sobs. Samatoki pulled himself up and turned on the lamp.

After going through many trials and errors, they finally decided to move in together.

At first, things were a bit chaotic, with conflicts leading to them living separately at their old house several times. But after finding a middle ground between them, many of their conflicts were resolved.

“อิจิโร่ ตื่นได้แล้ว” เขาใช้มือตบแก้มอีกฝ่ายเบาๆ

“...ซามะโทคิ?” ดวงตาสองสีปรากฏขึ้น เมื่อเปลือกตาที่เปียกชื้นเปิดออก มันเอ่อคลอไปด้วยน้ำตาอย่างน่าสงสาร

หยดน้ำตาสีใสเอ่อคลอออกมาจากดวงตาที่ปิดสนิท เรียวคิ้วขมวดแน่น เสียงที่เอ่ยเรียก เหลือเพียงเสียงสะอื้น

อิจิโร่มักจะฝันร้ายบ่อยๆ ตอนเช้าพอลองถามดูก็ไม่ได้คำตอบ ทีแรกเขาก็ทำเป็นไม่สนใจ ถึงจะรำคาญบ้างที่ต้องตื่นกลางดึกบ่อยๆ แต่อย่างน้อยก็รู้ว่ามันเกี่ยวข้องกับเขาแน่นอน

แต่มีสิ่งหนึ่งที่ยังคงกวนใจซามะโทคิมาตลอด

“...ซามะโทคิซัง…”

เสียงเรียกแผ่วเบา แต่ทำให้ซามะโทคิที่กำลังหลับอยู่ลืมตาขึ้นมาได้ไม่ยาก

“...ซามะโทคิซัง อย่า…” จากเสียงเรียกเริ่มกลายเป็นเสียงสะอื้น ซามะโทคิพยุงตัวเองลุกขึ้นไปเปิดโคมไฟ

หลังจากผ่านอะไรหลายๆอย่าง ลองผิดลองถูกกันอยู่หลายครั้ง สุดท้าย เลยจบที่ว่า พวกเขาตกลงจะย้ายมาอยู่ด้วยกัน

ช่วงแรกก็ออกจะวุ่นวายเล็กน้อย มีเรื่องกระทบกระทั่งกัน จนแยกย้ายกันไปนอนบ้านเก่าหลายครั้ง แต่หลังจากเริ่มหาจุดตรงกลางระหว่างพวกเขาได้ ความขัดแย้งก็คลี่คลายไปได้หลายจุด
