The morning sun is illuminating a hillside, creating a bright golden hue. Beyond the hill is some fog that is starting to burn off, and the angle of the morning sun is creating a partial fogbow, a brighter white arc in the fog. The sky is blue above and there are some regular clouds as well. In the foreground is part of a hillside that is in a shadow. It is the beginning of Cerro San Luis mountain, visible on the right side. The sun has shadow play with the mountain, forming gold highlights and dark blue shadows.
