Me and my friend once day dreamed a MtG set in the wild West, and all the cowboys were red white and blue, and the set was based around stealing land, while the indigenous group were red green and black, and were focused around landfall and horsesmenship.

Then they went and made that one set...
I gotta stop day dreaming...
Have it be called like, Fables of Rathe, and have the set be based around young heros telling stories about legendary heros, and who they want to be.
God damn...
Have a supplementary book with a "pick a path" feel that let's you make choices to do with who and what your character is. Have elements of deck building by having a "bank" of cards that you randomly pick from like in Atherfields. Let people make disgusting combos and overpower heros.
Thinking about it, the "self made hero" vibe would work really well with a PvE set in flesh and blood.
Start off as a young hero, learning how to fight and survive in the world of Rathe. Have them grow over the course of the game with a big boss fight at the end.
Turn it into a DnD styled game.
Flesh and blood really is one of the most exciting card games to think about, and I'm so amped to see what LLS do next.
Like imagine a set with Ritual and Quest cards that give you an optional goal to complete that help deepen the vibes of certain archetypes.
Necromancer Rituals that help summon stronger allies, and Quests that reward heros with gear upgrades, or something similar.
The creativity you can pour into flesh and bloods products is always so fun to think about. The themes and mechanics in flesh and blood make it so much easier for the flavour of whatever you do to stand out.
Have a Riptide set.
The only hero is riptide.
Yo, you could even add a hero that digs into the "fighting game" aspects, and has meter to spend on a big flashy attack.
A set where players are racing eachother, where the whole set has an alternate win condition.
A set based on entirely generic cards would be neat. Throw in a generic hero with no class, or let them switch it mid way through.
Better yet, I'd love to see a set where you're a "self made hero".
Where you play auras that give your hero their abilities and skills, where you slowly get worn down over the game, but also grow stronger through the things your hero learns.
Mentors that buff your Warrior ally cards, generic ally civilians, item cards that are things like a blacksmith, or stable that help push out tokens to army your allies.
Flesh and Blood could do with a "joke" set, sorta like the Un-sets.
A thematic switch up in terms of game mechanics could open up the design options that the devs play with.

A set where you play as a hero general, and have warrior ally cards, and the goal is to destroy your opponents kingdom.
The constant act of trying to find the most optimal or meta deck in a TCG isn't as fun as playing the most meme deck.
Theme is just as important, if not moreso, than optimization in my books.

Gotta have the flavour, even if your dish is nutritious.
Im pretty good at Yugioh for someone who only plays Dinosaurs and Alien.
Magic the Gathering is actually the easiest card game to learn and play, and be good at.
Thinking about how yugioh can suck my balls.
Flesh And Blood is so fucking sick though. Archetypes with mechs, and pirate necromancers, indigenous representation, ninjas, even a rockstar gladiator??

GOD this TCG is cool, and the only thing that comes close is battle spirits saga (rip)
The last 2 days all I've done is watch FaB content on YouTube please help

I'm DYING to play the game again, but I'm so scared to go to an event. I haven't played since Outsider, and even then I didnt get to play enough to "Know" how to play...
I've thought about this, and 2 beat moments to start is at the start of Amaria civil war would be an almost perfect jumping in point that'd set up a season 2 with clanners coming in as the main antagonist.
There are probably better starting points but this is one of the easiest jumping on points.
Really tempted to get back into flesh and blood after seeing Pleaides. What a cool looking hero, AND THAT TE REO MAORI CARD IS IBSANE
Without downloading new pictures, what's it like to date you?

Sorta like this...
