This is especially evident in the switch from her ARR garb to the black mage outfit she wears after HW and into the next two expacs, it kind of symbolizes her being in a really dark part of her journey, and the lighter less heavy clothes she changes to after is her being free from her own guilt.

F'aolan and N'ratna mostly wear the same thing through the MSQ with some changes here and there depending on weather/region etc, but Rivel's outfit changes are very frequent (she is rich after all) and are meant to reflect her narrative at specific overarching story moments.

Once he teams up with the other two in the trio he'd probably leave the people-killing to N'ratna or Rivel who don't really have any major issues with it when it's needed or necessary. But he'd still find it distasteful (mostly he has strong feelings about it because of his past)

I feel like F'aolan in particular wouldn't like to kill human/people enemies or beastmen, but we fight so many that I'm not sure how I'd get around it lore wise. I guess he'd just knock them unconscious instead of killing them?
