I do it by starting a new personal project. A burnout is my arm refusing to draw what my brain is telling it, cuz it's probably boring and my arm is tired of it. So time for a new thing. Always works.

Tbh it's been in early access since May? and the buzz has been pretty constant since then. It wasn't an explosive release like Silksong. It's doing pretty well, my friend LOVES it, but its peak players now are just slightly better than the peak players when early access and buzz began.

Underrated feature of Ghost of Yotei is how after you stop playing for a little to do some monster hunting, you hop back in and the game skips all logos, screens and menus and drops you back right where you were. As if you had minimized it on the PS

Been trying to explain why economy increasingly feels like it's running wholly on rich people passing each other same bag of money - innovation is stalled, unemployment is rising, but stock tickers are still somehow going up. This example captures the current state of our economy perfectly.

There's something I'm seeing, where companies are now trying to find ways of saying they're not using AI while using AI. AI is becoming a really poisonous term, and I've seen even in casual conversation people trying to avoid it, and saying things like "current technologies" or whatever.
