I've worked for a long time on this novel. Years. Decades, if you count the screenplay versions that came before it. (I certainly do.)

Where do you find your motivation?

I hate to DNF a book. Especially one with acclaim and being made into a Netflix movie. I mean, it has to get better right? But I'm 1/2 way thru and it's a dredge. My hours are precious. I feel weirdly guilty about it (FOMO), but it has to be done. (I'll never name it publicly tho)

By far, my favorite old-school horror novel. If you've never seen the movie (Bram Stoker's Dracula), it's a great follow-up
