Air sealing is a key part of the YCCBC Squamish team’s work. This season, the team carried out air sealing projects and led hands-on workshops to share the how and why of home air sealing.

Youth Climate Corps alumna Katie Martin has been named one of just seven recipients of Nature Canada’s 2025 Young Nature Leaders Grant.

Katie worked for Youth Climate Corps three years ago as part of Wildsight’s Kootenay-based YCC program.

On National Indigenous Peoples' Day, the YCCBC Courtenay team had the opportunity to help facilitate a local event. To assist the K’ómoks First Nation, the team helped weave a cedar arch for the entryway of the event.
