It feels odd to me that it’s always, “he’s mentally unwell! Deranged! Mentally unfit to lead!” I’m not saying there isn’t cognitive decline but there are cruelly deranged people throughout history, the issue is that we keep supporting them because they keep entire societies trapped in poverty.
