Behind the Scenes of PERPETUUM by Katja Heitmann. 24 local participants contributed to the project performing special and personal movements. Tonight you can stand face to face with their holograms, as they are projected on a monumental scale, and hear the stories behind their movements.
Thank you to all the artists and families that we welcomed through our doors for Children & Their Grown Ups festival last weekend. With so much on offer from performances to workshops to Scrap Play the building was a hive of activity.

As you get closer to their holograms, you stand face to face with them and hear the stories behind their movements. In a sea of light, your personal movement also becomes visible.

In PERPETUUM, the movements of people from Leeds are projected on a monumental scale.
Beth Emmerson’s Counterfeit Goods blurs authenticity and superficiality, evoking sci-fi unease within a glossy, Barbie-doll-like package.
