Like, I'd say that Ho-oh along with Groudon, Kyogre and Rayquaza had more impressive appearances in their games than the box legendaries of Diamond and Pearl and that shit was on much stronger hardware, they simply did not have the time to fully sell the moment (as we see they could do in platinum)

There's no distortion world there's no nothing, you fight Cyrus atop spear pillar, he loses, and team galactic just stops... and that's it!

Also Dialga or Palkia show up and it's fairly anti climactic as well

Sometimes I remember that Pokemon Diamond and Pearl were games that existed and that Gen 4 is not, in fact, comprised solely by Platinum and then I have to reckon with the fact that GameFreak has been in the trenches for so fucking long dude
