- You need a near full playthrough of either Ruby, Sapphire, or Emerald, in order to get Regigigas

Touhou to some extent. The "X Sign" spell card naming scheme remains to this day, likely due to said imprinting. When I translated EoSD to Greek, I changed the term used to refer to a literal card, since "amulet" in Greek mostly refers to metal ones, rather than paper. So I went with "Κάρτα X".

Had a dream a while back in which I discovered the existence of the "Grave of the Fireflies/Super Mario World 2-in-1" for the Wii. It basically functioned as a DVD except for a "special features" section that literally only had an SNES emulator playing Mario World. It went for absurd prices on eBay

The cover for a fake Wii game consisting of both the 1988 Studio Ghibli film, Grave of the Fireflies, and Super Mario World; both are represented on the cover, the former by the poster of Seita carrying his sister Setsuko across a field and the latter by the artwork of Mario wearing a cape and riding Yoshi. The cover promises "TWO classics in ONE!".
