This was a great birthday.

I appreicated the reposts and all, but what I was really was hoping for was for this kick-off for the sake of sharing art tips.

I was interested and curious is seeing what other artist would say that would help and encourage others, but I'll see if I can salvage this idea for something else.

I'll keep my eyes open for other good books too. I know about Kingmaker, The Infinite and the Divine, Fall of Cadia and etc.

As for figurines... I'm interested, but not as much as the novels ATM. Also, Mechanicus are currently my favorite faction, and I heard that they aren't beginner friendly.

I will continue the Dawn of Fire series, and will eventually -- slowly -- tackle the Horus Heresy.

I'm planning on looking into as many books about the Mechanicus, Space Wolves, Orks, and Rogue Trader book that I can afford

Finished reading my first Warhammer 40K novel: Avenging Son. Loved it.

After playing, beating and enjoying a few of the games -- owning the new art book, following the Adeptus Ridiculous fan podcast, and now I've read and enjoyed one of the novels. I think I'm definitely into Warhammer 40K.
