What baffles me about the MAGA crowd is their awareness of how irrational many of them are, yet they still felt safe during the Jan 6 insurrection. Watching that event convinced me that Trump genuinely believes he can manage a mob of lunatics. Even now he believes he has control. Utterly reckless!

Aren't a lot of the players and fans supportive of Trump? I say this because some of them seem shocked by the behavior and confused as to why Trump would be silent about the shitty behavior. The truth is, he enjoyed it, his fans enjoyed it, and some of the players got a taste of what they support.
