Really? Another one? There's been like 8 versions of this same manuscript published in CID over the last 1-2 years. Same population (2019- April 2022). Gimme a break.

This isn't applicable in 2025.

In fact, the latest that patients were included was Apr 2022 -- their "lit review went through Dec 2023"

Not only different variants, but incredibly different levels of seroprevalence in the population.

This seems to be the same population that Gilead has re-statistically analyzed over and over again in different ways.

Mozzafari has about 4 manuscripts doing this exact same thing in different pops

Why would patients 2019 through 2023 be put in the same SRMA?

Nobody has yet to provide me with any reason why we can’t study 2-3d of an oral cephalosporin rather than this continued narrative that we have no options.

Just like all the “aspiration events” that happen on the floor always seem to end in pneumonia. Immediately. Every time.

I wonder why that could possibly be…….

Hi there. I was disappointed in the misinterpretation of our remdesivir study on this episode. Let me know if you’d like to discuss.

#COVID patients who don't receive remdesivir not more likely to die, data suggest

Models found no difference in all-cause death rates, 30-day hospital readmissions, or length of stay before and after restrictions were put into place.

Had to be immunocompromised due to medication, condition, or pregnancy on supplemental oxygen to be eligible to receive the drug without ID consult.

Anyone want to study more than a single dose of a beta lactam for NG with me? :)
