viewership by saying they really want to drop the story and are really disappointed by the author.

maybe i just play the devil's advocate too much, but i want to give them the benefit of the doubt. their livelihood depends on their work, i don't think they would take random hiatuses for no reason.

it's not the end of the world if an update doesn't happen. i know people are looking forward to it, but that mean you can just berate the author. also, some commenters are like yo-yos. mocking and berating, dangling their

some comments will say, "i wish you would've told us there was no update earlier instead of waiting on the day of", "do a longer hiatus instead of cutting off the story so frequently", "dropping from the hiatuses", or even writing about panel count/prices .

this is all fine, imo.

seeing people write mocking comments about how they wasted their money by reading certain stories is honestly annoying.

usually, the main reason why authors take a hiatus is for health-related reasons.
