我在读乔治梅森（George Mason)传时，深刻体会他对美国政治体制设计的先见之明和担忧，包括对不受限制的总统权力的恐惧（因为他，才有了对总统的弹劾条款），对联邦高等法院系统的怀疑（是他的坚持，US宪法中才有了人权法案Bill of Rights）。可惜现代美国公民忘记了他。这点上，我其实很警惕由一大群人投票来决定人类社会的重大问题，起码最初美国联邦政治体制的建立，就不是由普通人想出来的。而是像梅森这样对人性和任何一种政治经济体制有深刻思考和批判能力的个别人来奠定的。

在中国管制稀土出口后，川普气急败坏地要给中国产品加100%关税。现在又说中国将取消稀土出口管制，他不仅不加100%关税，还要把对中国产品的基础关税（“芬太尼关税”）从20%降为10%。相当于中国啥都不用干，恢复原状就让关税减半，又大获全胜。过一段时间中国再管制稀土出口，川普是不是就取消所有关税？

饶毅还在吹嘘发给了学术巨骗张亭栋的“未来科学奖”。一个“科学奖”发给学术巨骗本来就够丢人，而无视别人有根有据的揭露，不敢回应不敢更正，还有脸吹嘘，更丢人。这个学术骗子奖的赞助者、评委全都是学术骗子的帮凶，还觉得自己能流芳百世呢，笑话，历史不是骗子和骗子帮凶写的。

看来是全世界房地产老板的通病，不只是中国的，一拍大腿就改图，让我想起了尼禄，墨索里尼，希特勒，都是喜欢亲自部署 亲自指挥抓建筑。这么重要的历史地理位置 ，居然一个建筑设计审评的专业流程都没有，joke！可见美国政治体制设计中 ，给美国总统过大的 不受控制的权力，是多么可怕，250年共和国都要毁在这一代少数选民手中，我不单独归咎于特朗普或者某个政客。按照超级现实主义评论，是structure,而不是agent（某个僭主）的问题，或主要矛盾的重要方面。

今年美国各媒体的浏览量都大幅度下降，Substack浏览量反而上升，看来有前途，不像我以前用的某些平台用着用着就没了。我现在也算是Substack的畅销作家了，以后除了新写的文章，把准备要出专著的内容也先发到那里。
