Dangkang, the “tooth pig,” is a white-furred beast of myth, said to dance and chant its name when harvests are rich. With tusks like plows and joy in its steps, it heralds abundance and good luck. Some believe it inspired the character Zhu Bajie in the classic novel Journey to the West.

XZ is announced as the lead of the upcoming iQiyi drama 小城良方 (小城 = small town and 良方 = an effective prescription/remedy).

The show is an adaptation of the novel 飞刀, which tells the story of a genius doctor who is forced to return to his hometown after suffering an epic downfall.
