I'm expecting the collapse of the US... A country ruled by millionaires for millionaires is deemed to increase the suffering of the poor people, and when the poor people increase, bad things happen.
I don't think US have the antibodies to avoid this evolution.
China will be the winner 😢

But if I lived in southern Italy I'm not sure I would have received the same level of assistance. In US I probably would have die because I couldn't afford the 50.000€ I costed the healthcare system. And in Cuba I would have died because it's free but they don't have the means to cure me.

Absolutely not... I said I'm lucky to live in EU (Italy) because here the healthcare system works quite well and it's affordable. Last month I had an heart attack: hospitalized 10 days, 2 intervention, many exams, and I need to take 8 drugs a day. It costed me in total 36€ (40$).

I remember them too, but that times are really far in the past. From 2003 I definitely switched to Linux and OSS and I forgot what paying to USE a software means.
Noe I pay to DEVELOP the software I need/want and I can use it forever, I can gift it to others, I can modify it to better suit my needs.

He/She means that if you have money you can have among the best hospitals, doctors, therapies, etc.
In other countries you don't pay anything (or small amounts of money) but you don't have services (i.e. Cuba).
The right system sits in the middle; I'm lucky being in EU.

I could agree with you for SOME religions, but surely none of the Abrahamic ones, unless you discard 9/10th of the content of the bible. That book contains more violence and hatred than Stephen King's horror stories...

It teaches it's version of ethics, that usually consists in "help and love the people with your religious believes, but fight and hate all the others". Thanks, but I don't like this kind of ethic... We can see how much hatred this ethic is spreading in the world.
