So the real difference is in the negative reciprocity interpretation (+inductive gen./imprint sm. info->lg. processed observation; an innate mandate of invariance modeling by birth). So uncontra: In/Sane: in +0 in- describes a relation to sane that's structured around a valid preference. -0 is not.

but the distinction between Mulder's lunacy and that of my own

and Mulder is a lunatic. normally i'd search if one been thrown down a staircase as a child by mother and left to bleed for long duration without medical assistance there, if alien hypothesis is preferable to the actual story of "what happened as a child". (at least in my own community be protocol)

I'm not competing with Scully, even if some "universe" of audience somewhere is on behalf of my character and the other part audience not care about her at all and just want me gone. Scully (x-files) is not quite as resented of a character as my own Reiner (attack on titan), even after reformed.

I'd also rather have the German Woman of any variety as my correctional officer overseeing my everyday work than the American one. (have you ever seen Dr. Vanessa Thompson? I have always been afraid i'm going to break her, like her soft-spoken disposition and waistline alike is like an eggshell).

So I'm thinking, I'd rather be a complete asshole and trick people into seeing things my way and live to see my plans through to the end than not be a complete asshole, die, and watch generations of people succumb to shrinkage far greater due to that lack of success of this globalized project.
