It irks me how tribal cultures are viewed like animal species that need to be documented and studied. These are people, and they don’t want your company. Leave them the hell alone. Stop trying to “visit”. Stop shoving cameras in their faces, and attempting to “make contact.” Leave them alone.

I’m just scrolling reels when one comes up about North Sentinel Island. Talking about the indigenous people of the island and how many outsiders they’ve killed who were “trying to visit”. Saying stuff like “they’ve rejected all attempts at contact”. I don’t know, guys. Maybe leave them alone?

I think most people know my Farraki siblings by now. Dih’ta is the older sibling, and Ko’tah is 10 years younger than her. Ah’rik, my Amani/Gurubashi boy, is the oldest of 6 kids. He has 3 brothers, and 2 sisters.

I mentioned about a week ago that we have two family members in hospice close to the end. The one aunt in her 90s passed the day I made that post. We’ve just been informed that the aunt with dementia is in the active stages of dying right now. This is going to be a very hard day.
