it’s cool! i’ve been thinking a lot about general on-the-fly context discovery/curation, which i imagined was happening here in some form, so was curious! thanks for letting me try it :)

p.s. ty! marvin/pydantic-ai is sometimes useful for structured outputs
ooh cool. curious if the code to scoop up / inspect post content/embeds is public?

i have this (github.com/PrefectHQ/ma...) i've been saving for @phi.zzstoatzz.io when i have time, but haven't yet

also hilarious example post haha

(also pls allowlist me if ur willing 🙌)
ty! have to give props to claude on execution. live footage of me writing the ui here:
i appreciate the feedback! others have said the same

if you have long form feedback pls feel free to leave it here: tangled.org/@zzstoatzz.i...

minimal and accessible pdsls

It kinda feels like an atproto os launcher/browser situation. I feel like I should be able to click the app icons and go to the apps directly, not just inspect. Just an observation. I know inspection is the primary use case. :)

That animation tho! Yes plz to the parameter addition!
> redundant: I know, I signed up for them
my original idea was a maximally accessible pdsls.dev, so inspecting details of your records

but yea makes sense! yea i want to add a handle-based "share card" like skircle.me or something, just haven't got around to it yet

yea that's a quirk of how i was using the namespacing to discover atproto apps. i can think about how to do that better
100% agree on "You" being cleaner! will fix ze formatting too! ty
that is a very good point - thank you! updating! all corrective feedback like this is very much appreciated 🙏
path param added:
at-me.fly.dev/view?handle=...

also tried to make the "link out to 3rd party" more clear with an arrow but will think about a mobile-friendly way to make it even more clear

also ty for the feedback :)
> click the app icons and go to the apps directly

that makes sense! if u click the lil name of the service, it should do that! i can make that more clear, maybe explicit buttons for each! (im a backend person, so UX not always my forte lol)

will add the path param!
thanks :)

> Any interest in turning this into a launcher?

how do u mean? if u click the name of any app, it'll take u to it (not sure if that's what ur looking for)

> I kinda want to project it on my wall with watching turned on.

i can add a path param so u could bookmark ?watching=true etc
yea! voyageai.com for embedding both the bufo filename + image or sample frames (if GIF) for each, and @turbopuffer.bsky.social for storing them

docs.voyageai.com/docs/api-key...
@calsmith.bsky.social i made a thing, thought i should let you know, being the bufo luminary that you are

find-bufo.fly.dev

you can send results as a link:

find-bufo.fly.dev?q=us-east-1+...

yea i suppose i could totally remove login as a requirement! tbh i was carrying forward boilerplate from another atproto app and didnt consider carefully! will tinker some more
i also thought some “welcome to atproto” landing page would be great

i made this: at-me.fly.dev

but its nascent, rn it requires login to see anything interesting and took some explaining when i showed it to a non-atproto nerd lol

The atproto SDK for Python now supports Python 3.14! Please report any instability of firehose async client. There are too many dependency bumps for this release.
oh wow yea also change.org / petitions on atproto is interesting
preaching to the choir i assume but on behalf of oss maintainers everywhere, please note:

good-first-issue != claude can one-shot this

one must occasionally use the brain to "do open source"
yea this! sometimes agents do semantic search on our docs and i’ll be like “😕 that’s not right” at what it comes up with but then realize i left our docs open for interpretation in unfortunate ways
yea articulating yourself in a "generally understandable" manner is not a ubiquitous skill
:mindmeld: i was just reading this 😀 ty!
nice post! claude has indeed been v helpful w MREs
