i have never known true misery until I touched Unity HDRP. Never again...
In my delivery game, there are loads of very silly products you can deliver to people, products that populate the stores. Chocolate ramen, onigiri with a silly mascot, my personal favourite, the Mesmelon, and silly juice. Always lookin' for silly ideas :3

Before starting #gamedev #indiedev I was very good at brainstorming ideas for games. Like, I'd have sooooo many in mind! But now that I know how to actually make them, I know the types of games I'd love to try making but I just have 0 ideas. Anyone else struggle with that?

I think it's important to have passion for what you wanna make! But even still, clickbait like that could be the tipping point for someone to say "Yeah... I'm quitting." And to me, that's heartbreaking.
One of the funnest parts of my prototype of a 3D Defender was adapting the enemy designs, like this adaptation of the Lander from the original game. This was modelled by me but designed by the best concept artist I know, Roberta :3 ( www.instagram.com/rodrigues_il... )

Not sure if I should keep working on this... it was a prototype of a 3D Defender-like game. FPS is low but blame my recording software for that :3

This is a big prototype of mine! Does it look good? Prolly not, but I'm proud of it! :3 It's a game where you are meant to deliver items to NPCs. I wanted it to be very heavily physics based, and super chaotic! Floppy, etc... :3

why is it that so many #indiedev #gamedev content creators are so... negative? like, it's not uncommon to see thumbnails w/ "GIVE UP NOW" or "YOUR IDEA SUCKS" and so on...? Game dev is hard for sure, but you gotta stay a little positive.

Thank you! I am taking my time developing it, but it's meant to be an isolated experience where your only way of seeing the outside world is through navigating through your truck :3 And make sense of what's happened based on that.
i did a thing!!!! for my lil' horror game, i've finally added a minimap that shows where the player's armoured truck is, but the controls are still tied to the player's movement and not to somethin like a steering wheel.
post processing effects... not yet :(
