Labor, endurance, and an identity forged not through sovereignty but solidarity. Yarimar Bonilla coined the term “non-sovereign futures,” — a way of existing in the shadows of colonial governance. A reality where delayed aid, uncertainty, and survival itself become acts of resistance and defiance.
