Are your AWS lambda-functions still on Python 3.9? Time to move on. EOL is reached 30OCT and support is ending 15DEC. Remember that you will not be able to update these functions down the road #aws #lambda #serverless

Are you using the scheduler in AWS (Eventbridge) with cron-based scheduling? Be aware that Sun=1, so 1-5 will be SUN-THU and not MON-FRI as you would expect in other cronjobs. Use char, not numbers when setting up to avoid confusion. docs.aws.amazon.com/scheduler/la... #listentotheheroes

Amazon S3 Tables are now available in Europe (Frankfurt), Europe (Ireland), Europe (London), Europe (Stockholm), and Asia Pacific (Tokyo). This makes it way easier to test things out without having to break the barrier of moving data to the US.

A huge thank you to the Amazon Aurora team. Migrating an old Mysql5 from serverless v1 to Mysql8 on serverless v2 was super-smooth. 5 CLI-commands and 40 mins later everything was done while I had control. Same connectionstring and automated backups on every step! Just super-smooth #databases #aws

One more time: After 8 JAN you can not start a new Aurora serverless v1 cluster. This most likely means that old v1-snapshots also will be useless!!! Or if your v1-cluster crashes you are in trouble. Time to migrate clusters *and also migrate old snapshots if needed* #listentotheheroes
