Is there an E.T.A. on when selected #KidLitZombieWeek 2025 winners find out who on their survey they are paired?

If you are in these districts or know anyone who might be, call these reps. Tell them to vote NO on a bill that will:
* Deny insurance to millions
* Cause thousands of preventable deaths
* Reinforce and expand the fascist regime of deportation and camps

I am one of the selected #KidlitZombieWeek winners!

It’s 👌🏽I “read” that the answer was “No,” in the tears being wiped off face(s)giggly wiggly responses of @rebecca-ensign.nksy.social and @janmilusich.bsky.social .
Hi Adrianne, if you're asking if you can offer another pitch unfortunately this week is solely run on volunteer power so asking the team to do even more is not in the cards, but we love your passion and wish you the best in the contests! Make sure you filled out both the pitch and pledge forms. :)

I solemnly swear I’m using my yummy brain to bring a zombie manuscript back to life. #KidLitZombieWeek

Thank you for the bonus day!! I had a busy week and it was great to have time today to read all the blogs and start picking my brain for ways to revive my MS!

You could add:
As his vision cleared, he looked up and he saw the tattoo. Panicked he looked down. That’s when he saw the nails….
Cue the scream.
Josh awakened slowly. The last thing he remembered was the glint of the axe as it came down, and then... darkness. Where was he? Why was he naked? Why the hell couldn't he feel his limbs? As his vision cleared, he looked down. That's when he saw the nails. Josh began to scream.

And windowseats.
Granted, it may not solve all of the problems currently facing the world, but I think we can all agree that having more bakeries, libraries, gargoyles, quaint cafés, cemetery picnics, museums, handwritten letters, independent bookstores, and Oxford commas would be an important first step.

The easiest way to explain ranked choice voting is that it's a sandwich order, not a tier list. If I said your choices are turkey, ham, or dogshit, you wouldn't be like "ok my third choice is dogshit", you'd simply omit the shit sandwich.

Wait, what “one” manuscript? OK just know I spell 1 “o-n-e”. So I see permission to pull theee Zombie scripts.

@infowoman.bsky.social Hey, I see you are a former community manager for Storyteller Academy. Are new members only permitted during certain membership sign-up windows annually?

I wonder if “Pantsers” are more often surprised than “Plotters.” As a pantser who feels my way into my writing, my answer is about a third of the way thru draft creation my stories within stories emerge.
TOPIC: At what point do you figure out the subtext--the story within the story--and are you ever surprised at the themes that have embedded themselves in your work? #kidlitchat

…with clotted cream? Please.
Remember, you’re under no obligation to justify yourself to anyone if you choose to spend the entirety of your weekend drinking tea, reading books, and eating a plethora of emotional support scones.

Please, with a soft, warm throw blanket over my knees and a window seat.
It’s truthfully hard to fathom a more perfect pairing than that of rainfall and reading.

😅And what’s the Expedia Experience link to that trip?
I realize that "hustle culture" is all the rage, but what about "sit in front of a cracking fire in a Scottish Highlands cottage whilst reading, sipping tea, and eating scones" culture?

👀You’ve got my attention.
Yes, they’ll be blog posts the week of June 23-27th about revising and enlivening your manuscripts. There’s helpful donor wisdom on the site. And pitch form is coming where you’ll get to tell us what your story’s about and why it became a zombie.
Your pitch could win a critique from the hosts!
