My take on mamdani is that the energy spent on him & his candidacy would be much better spent on direct action/grassroots radical movements, also the fact a sex pest like Cuomo got 40% in a “leftist” city is just another example of how much misogyny/rape culture permeates this society

I’m not a fan of formal organization, which is predictable & follows a set of rules, informal organization like affinity groups adapts in real time to conditions where & when it exists, formal orgs can adapt yes but they are less adaptable & often times are stifled by bureaucracy
