Last year after the election, I reflected: "When we fight, we win—but sometimes the fight takes awhile."

Last night, we saw Democratic victories across our nation. I am so proud of these enthusiastic, principled, inspirational leaders who will continue to fight for our nation, ideals, and progress.

While the Trump admin. continues to jeopardize SNAP benefits, Seattle restaurants are stepping up for their communities. Our community is feeding neighbors in need. Not to mention the great work of Gov. Ferguson investing $2.2 MILLION a week to keep food banks stocked up.
With SNAP benefits uncertain, these WA restaurants will feed those in need
Seattle’s restaurant community is taking action, providing meals and more. “We’ve always said if the community shows up for us, we’re going to show up for them,” said Lenox owner Jhonny Reyes.

Virginians understood the assignment.
And, as an added bonus, @statenavigate.org is now projecting Dems with 62 seats (out of 100) in the VA House of Delegates (even more amazing when you consider that Dems had only 34 seats heading in to the 2017 elections). Wow, what a night! bluevirginia.us/2025/11/live...

Washington residents who have not yet voted: Our Secretary of State and local election officials recommend returning your ballot to an official county drop box or in person at a voting center, rather than mailing in your ballot. Recent USPS changes could delay postmarking.

Heads up, WA Voters!
USPS policies could delay or risk uncounted mail‑in ballots.
To be safe, use an official ballot drop box or deliver your ballot in person to your local elections office.
State officials warn new USPS policies may lead to uncounted ballots
Officials recommend using other methods to return completed ballots as USPS may not postmark it in time.

This won’t affect most of us but we knew this was coming so we’ve been preparing since January.

It’s going to get rough for a lot of people that won’t have these benefits. Don’t panic. Hold the line. Our preparation lets us help others if need be.
