But by far the most important lesson for dealing with People I've learned: never, ever, ever assume malice. It's almost always ignorance.

We did something different with the credits for Demonschool. We used this format: name, title, lengthy description of what they did. Often you see credits in games where you don't know what the credited developer was actually responsible for. We wanted to give people proper, actual credit.

Depois desses anos trabalhando com texto, notei que tem jogos com medo de que você pegue diálogos repetidos, porque isso tira a “naturalidade” do mundo. Isso resulta em jogos com 100k+ palavras de diálogo que não adiciona nada e o jogador pula do mesmo jeito pq vira ruído e não informação.
i take frenzy damage every time i see someone go "well i just use it for the boring stuff". what are you TALKING about? if it's boring or unimportant, why are you putting it in? NPC dialogue is fertile ground for worldbuilding, creating verisimilitude, conveying important information, and hijinks!!
