The @backerkit.com Holiday Market launches in 10 days and to say we're excited is a massive understatement!!!

There'll be another chance to buy magnets featuring my Cell Paintings. Making these sparked my curiosity and led me to train to be a Scientist!

My law firm is currently litigating 13 redistricting cases and an additional 50 voting and election cases. 63 lawsuits and those numbers are growing. While this is a lot for a firm with fewer than 60 lawyers, I am proud that we helping to defend free and fair elections and democracy in court.🗳️⚖️💪

I could not be more proud of my FM residents. In the face of the SNAP crisis, they pulled together this weekend and created family and individual meals to hand out to patients in need in our offices. 😭😭❤️. They are not splashing it all over socials, but I cannot help but share. 1/4

Dismantling the Institutional Review Board (IRB), that oversees all human subjects research, is bad. Really bad.
The entire HR department at the CDC is gone. Everyone at the IRB, which makes sure studies are conducted ethically and rigorously, and the ethics office, which oversee conflicts of interest for CDC leaders and advisory committee members, were also let go.
