Transactional services get the job done: fast, efficient, automated. ✅

Do they build trust or connection? Rarely. That’s the quiet flaw: tasks completed, yet do they build trust?

I’ve written HQN’s next bulletin on this- designing relational services, not simply transactions

A clearer conversation about human rights starts with facts, not fears. New Oxford Law report finds proposals to limit the UKs role in the ECHR often rest on misunderstandings. Time to base the debate/media coverage on how it really works not the myths.

Fascinating interview with Sir Max Hastings on Radio 4 PM about why he's decided to protest against Trump's visit tomorrow. His thoughts on the President, and why his type of malfeasance (my summary)and bullying are not the norm and should be called out. Worth a listen(last 10 mins of the programme)

Across the US and UK, political writing sounds less like analysis and more like disaster reporting. Everyone’s “destroyed,” “in tatters,” “ruined,” or “barely surviving.” What happened to nuance and measured reporting? It's dull.
