The Acolyte was brilliant b/c it delved into the lore in a way I just haven't seen before as a life long Star Wars fan.
The hate it received was absurd b/c it wasn't based on the merits of the production, but b/c it didn't star a white guy.

Definitely agree, but being the first person that does this for someone is not for the weak.
People are so used to cruelty and abuse, the pushback will be HARD b/c their standpoint is situations like this don’t exist.
There’s just a lot of hurt and trauma out there.

Right bc the only way we grow is through relationship w/others. We can do a lot of work on ourselves but together is when it's put to the test. You're essentially experimenting on others w/care (hopefully).

So we have to build that brick by brick with imperfect examples with a lot of trial and error.

I tried to tell folks this shit over the summer but I realized quickly some folks aint never felt the love and safety I did that kept me around and they literally cant relate lol im not mad at anybody who dont get that I pray they find the love I got to experience even if I only had it temporarily
