In almost exactly a year we will be waking up in the morning after the votes have been counted in the Senedd (Welsh Parliament) election.

It’s perfectly possible that Labour, who have been the largest party in Wales since 1922, could be third behind Plaid and Reform.

Llaw is Welsh for 'hand' (a word distantly related to 'palm'), and its plural form is dwylo.

I like that, at first glance, the singular and plural might seem so different as to come from unrelated words, but actually dwylo is just a fusion of dwy 'two' with llaw.
