Worked triage yesterday. Six hour wait. Had a patient with knee pain stop me and ask me to fix her phone because her game froze when I went to the waiting room to grab an actively laboring patient.

The more RN-BSN classes I take, the more I’m convinced it’s a scam by people trying to make this more than it is.
If we were truly concerned about nursing education we would include more thorough clinical courses and not stupid discussion boards.

Had a patient’s family member advocate for their wish to be DNR, the inevitable happened, and they passed peacefully. No art lines, no ET tubes…slept in their own bed for their last night on earth instead of the ICU.
It’s nice to see people make good, selfless choices.
