Sleep is a biological necessity, and sleep deprivation has real physical, psychological, and social consequences that need to be taken seriously. The way our society treats it as slothful to sleep according to natural rhythms (including midday naps and variant chronotypes like night owls) is evil.

A rare moment of accurate self-assessment and sound judgment from Ambroys is tarnished by his complete inability to make good life choices.

WoW does not need new races, there is so much already there, if you are incapable of writing coherent stories with 20 years worth of stuff at your disposal, get better writers. You can't just slap a new thing every time you hit a writing wall, not on a triple A game with a 15$ sub

Haranir are non-white coded, but they do not draw from any single culture in significant quantity, they do the vague Avatar indigenous + Black coding. They are an imitation of an imitation.

Trolls and Tauren are actually, at times almost 1:1, drawing from specific indigenous and Black cultures.

We can't ignore how much more palatable to the average white westerner the vague indigenous "lives with nature" is, compared to the "scary" specific coding of these "unwanted" cultures. Even the most racist of people love the noble savage, and we are already 20 years behind on these tropes.

thinking about the time a cool Instagram fashion account asked me to name my favorite products and i didn't know i was supposed to name fashion products, so i said pigeon food because i like feeding pigeons and their followers were like "why the fuck do i need pigeon food for my outfit?"
