the NYT was simply too focused on the *real* threat to young girls, which of course is not massive amounts of institutional pedophilia rotting the country from the top down, it was trans women existing. Apparently we were more important to fabricate stories and platform cranks about lol.

Watching Fellowship of the Ring for the first time since probably 2001. It’s still unnecessarily long, and the only parts that seem vaguely familiar are the ones that have been thoroughly memed. Even with Rifftrax this is a tough watch.

I remember finding something like this in my mom’s dresser. She didn’t like that I found it. It took me until the age of 51 to figure out why and I feel so incredibly dense right now. And dirty.
