You’ll remember the blow-up over Matthew Knott’s SMH piece quoting a Hamas co-founder in what looked like a hit job on Albanese. (Context in the quote tweet below if you aren't up to speed.)

Well, it gets worse, and no one’s noticed. A thread....

Curious that the Sydney Morning Herald suddenly has direct contact with Hamas.

Even more intriguing is that Matthew Knott - once described as a stenographer for pro-Israel groups got the story. (Article in post 2)

A terrorist targeted federal workers last week. There wasn’t much reporting on it. But I’m not finished thinking about it! 🧵

An anti-vaxxer fired more than 500 gunshots into CDC Atlanta, shattering 150 “blast-proof” windows on 6 buildings. Employees were pinned down in terror.

No doubt these are serious fires, but perhaps we can stop using the word Unprecedented.
15,000h is large. Victoria 2009 Black Saturday was 450,000h.
These catastrophic events are not unparalleled or previously unknown but they are predicted to occur more frequently

Australian COVID-19 weekly stats update:

The risk estimate fell again to 0.6% “Currently Infectious”, or 1-in-170.

That implies a 16% chance that someone is infectious in a group of 30.

Yet another reminder that Australian 'Public' healthcare is not free. Just to say that in the UK, cancer/cardiac/any hospital treatment is free. No surcharge, no top-up, no credit card care.
These decisions are ours to take. Tax multinationals to pay for healthcare

Utterly humiliating for our country.

I've asked this question before, but in the aftermath of another very high-profile 'media trial', what benefit is there of publicising allegations BEFORE a court trial is complete?
Are there legal benefits to the current system?
Do those benefits outweigh the risks ?

Australia is one of the biggest gas exporters in the world, but we're told to worry about a domestic gas shortage?

Might have something to do with the fact that 80% of our gas is exported.

We have a gas export problem, not a supply problem.
