Yesterday I attended TransportationCamp NYC for the first time! I had a wonderful time connecting with so many with the same interests and passion that I have. I’m glad I decided to present on Latin American transit despite it being my first time presenting at the event. Go big or go home, right?

- Most routes having weekday 30-min frequencies
- Expanding evening & Sunday service
- Pulse/timed hubs
- 50% more access to jobs, 3 times as many people having access to frequent service

Last Saturday, I had my last lunch at the Star Confectionery in Riverhead, a luncheonette from 1920, which has sadly closed after 105 years. Owned by the Meras family for three generations. Incredible! @64streetcar.bsky.social and @milesintransit.com would’ve loved this place!

It's so ironic that anti-congestion pricing Phil Murphy has supported the Newark Bay extension widening, which won't solve tunnel traffic, poisons the air through added exhaust fumes and tire dust, and harms the climate. Same guy who set a goal to reduce greenhouse emissions 50% of 2006 by 2030!

Did you know the largest cherry blossom collection in the US isn’t in DC? It’s at Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ! It’s the oldest county park in the US and has over 5,300 trees in 18 varieties!
