Anyone else remember when a 3rd place team traded for a single defensive player so people thought they were now a super bowl favorite, only for that team to be in 3rd place in their division just past the halfway mark with a definitely not elite 5-3-1 record?

Myles Price has 56 touches on the season(all returns), he has 3 fumbles.
That fumble rate would be like your running back fumbling 2 times every 3 games. I bring this up because there were some issues in camp/preseason as well iirc.

This is an incredible stat. Not that Stafford did it, but that this few people ever have.

What might be the single most frustrating thing about all this, is how hard is to continue to be patient and not give in to the intensifying feeling that we've seen this before, we've been here before, are we going to just tread water as an "in the hunt" before trying again in a decade per usual?

Ive decided there are 2 things left to see this season.
1. As always, McCarthy needs to show significant improvement. It doesnt have to be perfect by we need to see clear strides having been made by seasons end.
2. Short yardage HAS to get more run heavy, full stop.

So as of this moment, where a lot can change in the next year, but I would say of the 1st round 2024 QBs, you have guys who have definitely looked like hits, you have Bo Nix who I think still looks not good at all and is being masked by an great defense, and then you have McCarthy and Penix...

Its not that the Vikings lost that is so frustrating, its how things just never really improve. They patched together a strong defensive game last week with key moment plays from the offense. Today it was just more of the same without the key plays. Its not improving from playcalling down

The Vikings feel so familiar and that's not a good thing. Cap surplus all used up on older guys who arent able to get enough done. Qb is young still but man the inconsistencies dont seem to be improving.

1 score game just feels absolutely insurmountable. D can no longer get back to back stops. The O finally quit shooting themselves in the foot just for the refs to pick up the mantle

Illegal contact no longer a thing I guess. That safety grabbing Jefferson as he ran by is an inexcusable no call there

This just feels like not our day. That PI is purely because the throw was behind. The ONT on feet getting caught. Just some unfortunate situations

Great job stepping up to avoid pressure but McCarthy needs to know he had a chance to set his feet and make a far less terrible throw

On this drive there was a 1 yard run by henry to the left. Greenard did a great job just playing contain in case Jackson kept it. Need to keep that up all game
